Kimchi Workshop
Join us for a fun filled evening of fermenting where we will teach you the ancient art of fermenting Korean kimchi. Kimchi is a traditional Korean dish that is made from a variety of gut loving vegetables such as Napa cabbage, daikon, ginger, garlic, and red chili. There are so many different versions that you can make depending on the region of Korea you are in.
At the workshop you will learn how to make your very own jar of kimchi and go home with all the instruments you need to continue to ferment kimchi and other vegetables at home.
Instructor: Allisha Heidt, owner of Chickpeace will be leading this class. She has been teaching fermentation workshops for 10 years.

My partner and I attended the kimchi workshop and had a great time learning all about it's history + how to make it with like-minded people in a friendly environment. We left with all the tools to make it again and (no shame) already have a second batch on the go 10/10 would recommend as a way for newcomers to learn about DIY fermenting.
