Chaga Mushroom Chunks
Chaga has been in use as a medicine traditionally by indigenous peoples in Russia, Europe, Asia, and North America. The most common method of consuming Chaga mushroom is to make a tea. The tea can be prepared by simmering the mushroom in water for one hour or more, a crock pot works great. The pieces can also be reused, until they stop colouring the tea water with the dark brown colour. The mild tasting tea can then be consumed on it's own, or as a base for other teas, coffees and even soups. Chaga can also be tinctured in alcohol or glycerine.
